Hygiene and Safety Rules

Swimming and water games both involve risks. Swimmers who use the pool do so at their own risk. They are responsible for behaving in a safe manner. The following hygiene and safety rules provide guidelines for responsible behaviour at the pool.
General
·         You must take a shower before entering the pool.
·         All swimmers must wear a bathing suit and a bathing cap.
·         Do not wear shoes on the pool deck.
·         Do not bring food or drink on the pool deck.
·         Do not run on the pool deck.
·         Do not shove or push others.
·         Do not bring glass objects on the pool deck.
·         Do not dive in areas of the pool containing water less than 2 meters deep.
·         You must face directly forward when jumping off the edge of the pool.
·         Get out of the water or the pool when you hear a long whistle.
Slides
·         Only one person at a time may use the slide.
·         The first person must be off the slide before the next person gets on it.
·          Do not go down the slide head first.
·         You must be the required minimum height to use the slides.
·         Do not swim in the area of the pool under the slides.
Tarzan Rope
·         Only one person at a time may use the rope.
·         Swing straight out over the water, not toward the edges of the pool.
·         Do not swim in the area of the pool under the Tarzan rope
Inflatable Objects

*           Do not stand on inflatable objects.
*           Do not dive from inflatable objects.
