Volunteering Opportunities

Thanks to the involvement of volunteers in several sports and cultural activities, the City of Dieppe has been very successful. This in turn has a positive impact on the citizens’ quality of life.

Since April 2003, Dieppe’s Community Recreation and Recreational Facilities Department has recognized close to 70 organizations through the L14 Policy (certification of community organizations). These organizations offer a vast number of services, and organize events for both citizens and countless visitors every year. However, such organizations are faced with several challenges, including recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers.

Our goal is to ensure an increase in the number of volunteers in certified organizations, to see to the well-being of this resource, to maintain communications with organizations in order to recognize successes and challenges, and to promote volunteering opportunities in Dieppe. That is why we want to offer you a lot of information to guide you in the right direction.
