The New Brunswick Municipalities Act permits municipalities to enact bylaws and policies for the good of the community.
The City of Dieppe's bylaws are adopted by city council at public meetings. The procedure for adopting a new bylaw consists of a motion followed by three readings of the bylaw, followed by adoption.
Should you wish to obtain an official version of a bylaw, you must refer to the paper version available at the office of the city clerk. This version takes precedence over the electronic version.
