Dieppe Wednesday Show is looking for artists
DIEPPE, N.B. — The Community and Recreational Facilities Department of the City of Dieppe is inviting singers, musical groups or various artists to submit their application for the 23rd edition of the popular Wednesday Show series for the summer of 2010. Shows will take place from June 30 to August 18.
Those interested in participating must send a demo or a CD with biographical notes on the artist. Critics, articles and photos can also be included. All the material will be kept for future reference.
The Wednesday Shows began in 1987, an initiative of the Dieppe Community Recreation Department. This event is a series of eight free outdoor concerts. Since 2007, shows are presented at Place 1604 in Downtown Dieppe.
Submissions must be sent before 4 p.m. on February 4, 2010 to: Wednesday Show, City of Dieppe, 333 Acadie Ave., Dieppe, E1A 1G9.
