The health, safety and comfort of Dieppe residents greatly depend on the services provided by the Public Works and Engineering Department. Our goal is to contribute to the quality of life of the Dieppe residents by the effective provision of our services. The services provided by our department play an important role in the daily lives of our residents.

The department is divided in three (3) divisions, (1) engineering, (2) water and sewer and (3) public works.

- 4 water pumping stations and 4 water reservoirs
- 2 sewer pumping stations
- 151 kilometres of sanitary sewers and 1,981 manholes
- 100 kilometres of storm sewer, 1500 manhole and 2000 catch basin
