The City of Dieppe offers a variety of programs and activities for residents aged 50 and over. In fact, the municipality was awarded the 2018 Age-Friendly Community certification for its efforts! This status has been renewed by the New Brunswick Department of Social Development in 2023.
Whether it is with benches on trails, raised gardens or free public transit on Wednesdays, the city has its seniors at heart.
Check our community calendar regularly for a list of activities offered.
Dieppe Seniors' Committee
Want to get involved in your community by sitting on the Dieppe seniors' committee?
To do so, you must:
- be a permanent resident of Dieppe
- have a sincere desire to represent the city's seniors
- be willing to volunteer and play an active role in the committee's monthly meetings
The group provides an official forum for seniors to express their views and concerns regarding community development issues.
The committee not only allows seniors to discuss with other seniors, but also to share their ideas with municipal staff.
