Originally from Cap-Pelé, Councillor Hélène Boudreau has called Dieppe home for several years now. She was elected Ward 4 councillor in May 2008.
Mrs. Boudreau chairs on the Rotary Lodge Improvement Committee and the Advisory Committee for the Promotion of French. She also sits as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Greater Moncton International Airport and the Aeronautical Noise Committee.
Mrs. Boudreau’s active involvement in her community earned her the title of Volunteer of the Year in 2007 and 2008, a distinction awarded by the City of Dieppe. She held several positions, including Chair of the Friendship Carnival for several years, member of the Aquatic Centre Committee for the City of Dieppe (1998-2007), member of the liturgy committee and liturgy coordinator of Ste-Thérèse Parish. She was also chair of the Ethics Committee on Research at the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority.
Mrs. Boudreau also sits on the board of the Dieppe Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Eucharistic Liturgy Committee of Ste-Thérèse Parish.
Mrs. Boudreau has worked in nursing care for the past 25 years and has received several professional awards and distinctions, more specifically in the research and clinical development fields. |
