Water conservation

The City of Dieppe is asking all residents to be water wise and conserve water. Water efficiency in the home is encouraged.

A typical person consumes 340 l/day (75 imp. gal/day) and the average household use is illustrated on the pie-chart below. A Standard Household Checklist is provided for suggestions on how to conserve water. Based on three (3) rules of water conservation: reduce, repair and retrofit, a typical household can reduce water consumption by 35% with no effect on lifestyle.
