Celebrate fall in the Doiron House heritage garden!

The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Club de fleurs et jardins, invites you to discover the heritage garden through two free, family-friendly activities. Both activities will be held comfortably indoors in the Doiron House barn. Here are the details:

Tuesday, September 22, 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Harvest

Join us for a friendly harvesting session. Together, we’ll pick herbs from the garden, including thyme, lemon balm, mint and savoury, and prepare them for drying. We’ll explain how to preserve them throughout the winter and use them in traditional Acadian cooking, complete with recipes and preparation tips.

Thursday, October 15, 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Winter preparation

Club representatives will be back to show you how to properly put a garden to bed for the winter and prepare it for the following spring.

Two events the whole family won’t want to miss at Doiron House, located at 1145 Amirault Street. Everyone is welcome!
