The day’s festivities will include live entertainment, carnival games, inflatable games, sports activities and, in the evening, a live broadcast of a soccer World Cup match. The celebration will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display at 10 p.m., presented in partnership with Moncton and Riverview.
“This free event is designed for the entire community,” says Emélie Gallant, community officer with the City of Dieppe. “We hope to see Place 1604 filled with people proudly wearing Canada’s colours.”

Due to shoreline stabilization work along the Petitcodiac River being carried out by the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, the riverfront trail along Champlain Street will be closed between Wheeler Boulevard and Virginia Avenue until July 17. Anyone planning to watch the fireworks is asked to use caution and avoid this section of the trail.
