Don’t Miss The Dieppe Seniors’ Fair

The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Seniors’ Committee, invites residents aged 50 and over to its popular Seniors’ Fair. The event will take place on Thursday, October 1, at the UNIplex (450 Collège Street), from 1 to 4 p.m. The program will include information booths, interactive sessions, coffee and snacks, door prizes, and much more!

“This year, the first 200 participants will receive a free reusable bag,” says Sonya Babineau, community officer.

Among the highlights, the blood pressure check station, which was very popular last year, will be back, along with new workshops on fall prevention and chair-based exercise. Nearly 30 booths will cover a variety of topics of interest to seniors.

“It’s always a pleasure to welcome so many people to a day dedicated to our seniors,” adds Ms. Babineau.

Whether you want to learn more about nutrition for healthy aging, finances and retirement, fraud prevention, or caregiving, there will be something for everyone.
