No. All classes, aquatic activities, recreational swim sessions and public swimming will be suspended for the duration of the work. Regular programming will resume on September 19, 2026.
Temporary closure of the Aquatic and Sports Centre – June 22 to September 18, 2026
Dear Residents,
To improve our facilities and provide you with an even better experience, the City of Dieppe will be undertaking major renovations at the Aquatic and Sports Centre.
This work will require the facility to be completely closed from June 22 to September 18, 2026. We recognize that the interruption may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding.

Will there be classes or aquatic activities during the closure?
Will annual membership holders receive a refund?
Annual members should contact the Aquatic Centre’s front desk to find out the new expiry date of their membership.
Will the front desk be open during construction?
The front desk will not be accessible to the public during construction. Phone calls and emails will be answered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
It includes:
- Replacing the plumbing
- Renovating the three change rooms (partitions, floors, showers, countertops, and fixtures)
- Reconstructing the lifeguard station
- Reconstructing the public washrooms
When is the next registration period for swimming lessons?
Registration for fall swimming lessons will open Monday, September 14, for Dieppe residents, and on Wednesday, September 16, for non-residents of Dieppe.
Why does the Centre have to close completely?
The work requires a complete shutdown of the water supply, making it impossible to open the facility, even partially.
The good news is that the annual pool cleaning, usually carried out during a separate two-week closure each summer, will be done at the same time. This means one less closure for everyone.
