Traffic changes at the Champlain/Acadie intersection
The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the Champlain and Acadie intersection will reopen later this evening, Friday, July 17. Permanent traffic changes will then come into effect.
- Right turn from Acadie Avenue onto eastbound Champlain Street: Drivers turning right must now yield to eastbound traffic on Champlain Street.
- No right turn on red: Right turns on red from Champlain Street onto northbound Acadie Avenue are now prohibited.
- Dedicated left-turn lane: A dedicated lane is now in place for drivers turning left from Champlain Street onto southbound Acadie Avenue.
The City urges motorists to use caution as they become accustomed to these changes.
