The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce that the long-awaited extension of Dieppe Boulevard will begin in 2024. The main aim of the project is to improve road connectivity by providing a second option for accessing key areas of the city.

It was with great honour and respect that the City of Dieppe unveiled the permanent installation of the Mi’kmaq flag in its council chambers. The initiative follows a dialogue aimed at reconciliation undertaken with Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc. (MTI).
The ambitious document, which is geared to ensuring a sustainable future for Dieppe and its residents and encouraging the protection of trees of interest and healthy woodlands, sends a clear message that the municipality intends to protect its natural heritage.
The City of Dieppe is disappointed with the minimal changes being proposed to New Brunswick’s Official Languages Act, particularly the removal of the requirement to review the Act every 10 years.
Given Dieppe’s strong population growth over the past year and a new record for real estate construction, it is important to address the City’s transportation needs now, in order to support current growth and plan for future needs.
The designation, obtained for the first time in 2018, is a testament to the municipality’s continued commitment to the well-being of its 50+ residents.
