DIEPPE, N.B. – The City of Dieppe will be taking part in the National Public Works Week from May 15-21, under this year’s theme “Public Works - Always there”.
The week provides an opportunity to highlight the work carried out by the City of Dieppe’s Public Works Department staff, but especially the impact they have on the quality of our residents’ everyday life. Come out and enjoy the free activities!

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe celebrated the contributions of 38 volunteers working on various committees in the city during the Volunteer Recognition Night held at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre.
During the event, the following volunteers received a certificate and commemorative pin in recognition of their outstanding contribution:

Curbside treasures

The City of Dieppe is inviting residents to take part in the first Curbside treasures pickup taking place on Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (in case of rain, the activity will be rescheduled for Sunday, May 1).
Residents are encouraged to create more space in their homes and place items in good condition curbside. These items can be placed curbside or become treasures for others, all the while reducing environmental impact.

Supplies collection for Syrian incomers

In cooperation with the City of Moncton, the City of Dieppe will set up an additional drop-off site in order to allow residents in the region to donate various items that will help prepare the new homes of the Syrian refugees.

New tree planting program “A tree for life”

A new program aimed at making Dieppe’s landscape greener and highlighting the birth of a child was just recently launched. The City of Dieppe is proud to recognize the arrival of a child into the world by offering—free of charge—its family a tree that will grow alongside the child over time.
This program is intended for Dieppe residents who have adopted or given birth to a child in 2015. A single tree per child will be offered to the parents. In agreeing to plant this tree, the new parents are contributing...
