
Municipal Grants
The City offers various grants to assist organizations, residents and businesses.
Grants to Community Organizations
The grants to community organizations policy (L-23) governs the awarding of municipal grants intended for non-profit and community organizations for activities, services, events, and projects that may benefit Dieppe residents.
The policy was adopted in April 2026. The user guide and request forms will be available soon.
Support for Major Sporting Events
Provides financial support to groups organizing major international, national and other sporting events.
To apply for a grant to host an event:
- Read policy L-21
- Complete the financial assistance application form (B)
Please note that incomplete applications will not be evaluated.

Financial Support Program (for Individuals and Sports Teams)
The City provides financial support for residents under 24 years of age who take part in activities at the Atlantic, national and international levels.
Before applying, please ensure that the following criteria are met:
- You must have resided in Dieppe for at least 12 months prior to the event start date.
- You must be under 24 years of age when the event starts.
- You must be registered as a full-time high school or post-secondary student while taking part in the event.
- The activity must be Atlantic, national or international in scope.
- Your application must be submitted before the event begins.
- Individuals/teams are only allowed one application per level (Atlantic, national, international) per year.
- You must have been chosen through a selection or qualification process.
- You must provide proof of participation.
If you meet all the criteria, complete the individual form or team form. Please note that incomplete applications will not be assessed. Note that exchange trips are not eligible for this type of grant.
