Dieppe honours veterans

DIEPPE, N.B. — A special ceremony has been organized for Dieppe for Remembrance Day on November 11, a day celebrated across Canada to honour those Canadians who have died in war.
In collaboration with the Dieppe Veterans’ Association, the City of Dieppe invites the public to the veterans’ and RCMP parade taking place at École Anna-Malenfant at 11 a.m. The parade will take place inside the school, followed by an official ceremony commemorating the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918.

New traffic lights on Champlain Street

Dieppe (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that new traffic lights have been installed on Champlain Street at the intersection of Lafrance and Industrial Streets.
The lights will be permanently activated on Monday, November 10, weather permitting.
The City reminds drivers to be careful and respect the pedestrian crossings.
Halloween experience at École Sainte-Thérèse

DIEPPE, N.B. — The entire family is invited for an adventure in the famous haunted house at École Sainte-Thérèse on Sunday, October 26, during the Pumpkin Carnival.
At every turn, surprises and décor will amaze you and will entertain every one; young and old. The free activity will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (lights on) and from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. (lights off) in the school’s gymnasium.

Industrial and Lafrance Streets closed

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Industrial Street between Champlain Street and Malenfant Boulevard will be completely closed and inaccessible on Thursday and Friday, October 2 and 3, weather permitting, for asphalt work.
The detour will take place via Malenfant Boulevard and Dawson Avenue.
Please note that Lafrance Street (between Champlain Street and Gauvin Road) will be completely closed and inaccessible during this time.

Road construction - Gauvin Road

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that road construction will be ongoing on Gauvin Road, between Jeannette Street and Bras d’Or Avenue, on Tuesday, September 30, for the installation of elevated crosswalks, weather permitting.
The elevated crosswalks will replace the actual traditional crosswalks and one of its benefits is the traffic calming effect it will have on this street which is also situated close to a school. Motorists and cyclists will have to slow down at these...
