Road closure – Emmanuel Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Emmanuel Street, between Tower and Copp streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Wednesday, June 14 to Wednesday, June 21.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system as part of the reconstruction of Emmanuel Street project. Detour signs will be in place.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Bear sighted in the municipality

The municipality has been informed that a bear was sighted at multiple locations throughout the municipality.
Black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, but they are opportunistic feeders, and will attempt to eat anything that looks, smells or tastes like food.
Residents are kindly asked to avoid leaving garbage or food outside as much as possible.

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that it’s bringing back outdoor movies on a giant inflatable screen at Place 1604 during the summer. A total of nine films will be shown starting at dusk.

Lane reduction on Melanson Road (June 5 and 6, 2023)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Melanson Road, at the Rotary St-Anselme Park entrance, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on June 5 and 6.
This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for work on the sewer system as part of the reconstruction of Parc Drive project. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
