Notice of Public Meeting – June 12, 2023

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb

Bear sighted in the municipality

The municipality has been informed that a bear was sighted at multiple locations throughout the municipality.

Black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, but they are opportunistic feeders, and will attempt to eat anything that looks, smells or tastes like food.

Residents are kindly asked to avoid leaving garbage or food outside as much as possible.

Movies under the stars at Place 1604

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that it’s bringing back outdoor movies on a giant inflatable screen at Place 1604 during the summer. A total of nine films will be shown starting at dusk.

Lane reduction on Melanson Road (June 5 and 6, 2023)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Melanson Road, at the Rotary St-Anselme Park entrance, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on June 5 and 6.

This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for work on the sewer system as part of the reconstruction of Parc Drive project. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.

Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Free Visits Return to Doiron House

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce the return of free visits to Doiron House for the summer season, from June 5 through September 1, 2023. Come experience the history of this seemingly ordinary house told in a unique and enthralling way.
