Adoption of 2019 municipal budget

DIEPPE, N.B. – Dieppe City Council adopted its 2019 operating budgets totalling $69.4 million during its regular public meeting held on December 10. Of this amount, $56.5 million will go toward the general operating budget while $12.9 million will go toward the water and sewer budget.
Capital spending budgets were also passed at the meeting: $11.7 million for the general capital budget and $1.2 million for the water and sewer capital budget.

Winter parking restriction

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to remind motorists that it is not permitted to park on Dieppe streets between midnight and 7 a.m., from December 1 to March 31. This interdiction is in effect at all times, whether there is snow or not.
Fines could be given to vehicle owners who do not comply.
Please note that vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense if they affect snow removal efforts.

Reopening of community facilities and City Hall – Thursday, November 29

Update (2:27 p.m.) Centenaire Arena will open its doors as of 4:30 p.m.
DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that community facilities (Rotary Pavilion, AJL and Centenaire arenas, Aquatic Centre) will open at 11:30 a.m. City Hall will open at 10 a.m.

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that non-essential services are currently suspended due to the snow storm. The community facilities (City Hall, Rotary Pavilion, AJL and Centenaire arenas, Aquatic Centre) are closed until 10 a.m. An update will be sent at 9:30 a.m.
