4th Annual ImaginAIR Festival Cancelled

The City of Dieppe regrets to announce that in light of the public health restrictions in place due to the COVID‑19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the ImaginAIR Festival has been cancelled. The directive to refrain from large gatherings until at least December 31, along with the social distancing measures that have to be maintained, makes it impossible to proceed with this event originally scheduled for July 24–26.
The dates of the 2021 edition will be announced next spring.

Lane reductions on Champlain Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and Wheeler Boulevard (Moncton), from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29.
These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for asphalt repair work.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work...

Please be advised that there will be a Special Council meeting on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., which can only be seen and heard on the City’s website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Council members participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The agenda is available here.
Major rehabilitation of Chartersville Road

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that major rehabilitation work will begin on Tuesday, May 19 on Chartersville Road, from Dieppe Boulevard to Gorveatte Street, and will continue until August.
During the construction period, only local traffic will be permitted on this portion of Chartersville Road. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
