Dieppe Celebrating Canada Day Virtually

The City of Dieppe is reinventing its Canada Day celebrations as a virtual event. Programming will be in the form of a Facebook Live event that will begin at 10:30 a.m. and finish around noon on July 1.
The event will kick off with the singing of the national anthem, followed by speeches from elected officials. Next will be a children’s performance by Art Richard, to conclude with a presentation by Indigenous motivational speaker Savvy Simon.

Dieppe, NB – This morning, the City of Dieppe launched its 2020-2024 Immigration Strategy using a Web-based format, in the company of various community stakeholders. Building on the priorities of City Council, the Board of Directors of Expansion Dieppe and the Local Immigration Partnership, this new strategy aims to make Dieppe a welcoming city open to the world.

Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Acadie Avenue, at the intersection of Alain-Gillette Street, on Friday, June 19. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following Monday.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for work on the traffic lights.

Babin Road closure

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Babin Road, between Industrial and Dawson streets, will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, June 16, weather permitting.
Detour signs will be in place. This closure is necessary to allow for work to remove the railway track.

Wednesday Show, presented by UNI, returns this summer for its 33rd edition in a brand new format. The shows will be presented virtually this year and will broadcast live from the guest musician’s home.
Behind the wheel of their Westfalia, musicians George Belliveau and Kevin McIntyre will visit the artists and broadcast their performances from the backyard or other location at the guest’s home.
