Water Quality at risk due to blue-green algae (Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview)

The City of Moncton, the City of Dieppe and the Town of Riverview advise customers that there is currently a high risk of a blue-green algae bloom in the Tower Road reservoir, which supplies water to the primary Turtle Creek reservoir. The Turtle Creek reservoir provides water to Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview. As such, all customers should immediately reduce their water consumption to required activities only, as a preventative measure to mitigate the risk of a bloom.

Lane reductions on Champlain Street

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Marché and Collège streets, from Tuesday, August 4 to Friday, August 7.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. These lane reductions are necessary to allow for work on the water and sewer system.
Please note that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Boil Order Lifted

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the boil order is lifted for properties located between 581 and 628 Centrale Street as well as all properties on Aimé and Damien streets and Firmin and Dométhilde crescents.
Here are the measurer to take when a boil water order has been lifted:
- Cold interior and exterior water faucets: Run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Hot water faucets: Run tap water for at least 15 minutes for a 40 gallon hot water tank and at least 30 minutes for a 80 gallon...
