Upcoming changes to waste collection schedule

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that changes to the garbage collection schedule will take effect on November 3. Starting November 3, the City of Dieppe will be responsible for waste collection in the former local service districts (LSDs) of Greater Lakeburn and Scoudouc. Following the local governance reform exercise carried out by the Province last year, Greater Lakeburn and Scoudouc are now part of the City of Dieppe.

Notice of Public Meeting – October 21, 2024

Please be advised that there will be a standing committee meeting on strategies and public policies on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb.

Roadwork update

DIEPPE, NB — Here is an update on major roadwork projects currently underway in Dieppe.

Acadie Avenue
Work on a private property combined with episodes of heavy and sudden rainfall in recent weeks has affected the stability of one lane, heading toward Memramcook, between du Marché and Alain-Gillette Streets.

These issues have caused the closure of this lane. Stabilization work is currently underway, and the closed lane is expected to reopen to traffic by the end of October.

Lane reduction on Amirault Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists of a lane reduction to take place on Amirault Street, in the area of Dominique Court, on Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17.

This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for the installation of new water and sewer services. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
