More than One Year Later: Dieppe’s Tree By-Law Delivers Positive Results

DIEPPE, N.B. — In June 2023, the City of Dieppe adopted its very first tree by-law, an innovative regulation and the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada. Please be advised that there will be a standing committee meeting on strategies and public policies on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb.

Water Flow Tests in the Fox Creek Zone

The City of Dieppe wishes to inform you that water flow tests will be conducted in the Fox Creek Zone on Wednesday, January 15 or Thursday, January 16.

During this period, residents of the area may notice a slight drop in pressure and some water discolouration (brown water). If you notice any discolouration, simply let the tap run for three to five minutes.

These tests are necessary to obtain data for possible improvements to the municipal drinking water supply system.

Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue (January 7, 2025)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Acadie Avenue, between Marché and Alain-Gillette streets, on Tuesday, January 7. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for safe access to the construction site. The lane reduction will take place outside peak times.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
