Wildfire Risk – Temporary Trail Closures in Dieppe

Due to dry conditions and the increased risk of wildfires in the province, the City of Dieppe is announcing the temporary closure of certain parks, trails and sports fields within its territory until further notice.
The following facilities are closed as of today:
- Rotary St-Anselme Park – all trails (park open, BBQs prohibited)
- Bonaventure Park – all trails)
- Faisan Park (between Richard Street and Melanson Road)
- Disc Golf courses – Lakeburn and Mathieu-Martin
- Wooded trails: Richard Street, Melanson...
Lane reductions at the Dover/Amirault intersection

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that lane reductions at the intersection of Dover Road and Amirault Street will start on Monday, August 11. These lance reductions are necessary in order to allow for work related to the extension of Dieppe Boulevard.
Construction will continue until November. Delays are to be expected in the area. Please allow extra time for your travels.
The City regrets any inconvenience these roadworks may cause and appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation...
Special August 15 activities at Doiron House

Celebrate National Acadian Day with us at Doiron House! Step back in time as characters in period costume share captivating Acadian tales. Join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Doiron House barn at 1150 Amirault Street.
Traditional treats like poutines à trous (poutine with holes) and pets-de-sœur (nuns’ farts) will be served. In collaboration with Le Pays de la Sagouine, participants will also have a chance to win a pair of tickets to Akadi Lumina.
Admission is free: first come, first served!

“Dieppe Celebrates Acadia” Back with a Bang!

The world’s largest Acadian city will once again come alive on August 15, 2025, to celebrate National Acadian Day taking place at the Musiqu’Art site. This year’s festivities feature 1755 who will retire later this year, as well as a special farewell performance by Reveil, The Mainlanders, LGS, Moyenne Rig and additional guests!
