Public Notice - Bylaw A-4 (2025) - Procedural Bylaw of the Municipal Council of the City of Dieppe

Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Local Governance Act, the Dieppe City Council intends to proceed with the adoption of the following bylaw by reading a summary and the third reading of said bylaw at the City Council public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 7 p.m.:

Lane Reduction on Acadie Avenue and Closure of St-Laurent Street

The City of Dieppe wishes to inform motorists that Acadie Avenue, between Champlain and Olivier streets, will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Wednesday, September 24, to Friday, October 3. The left turn from Acadie Avenue onto Champlain Street will therefore be prohibited.

Lane reductions on Paul Street (September 22 and 23)

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Paul Street, at the intersection of Ste-Thérèse Street, will be reduced to one single lane of traffic in each direction on Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 23.

These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for paving work. Please note that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Please allow extra travel time or consider using an alternate route when possible.

Notice of public meeting - September 22, 2025

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb

Gauvin Road Closure (September 20, 2025)

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Marché Street and Acadie Avenue will be completely closed to traffic on Saturday, September 20, 2025, between 12:45 p.m. and 5 p.m.

This closure is necessary to allow the Midland Pulling for United Way Truck Pull to be held.
