DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to invite residents to its Open House taking place on Saturday, October 14 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the fire station located at 500 Gauvin Road.
During this year’s Fire Prevention Week, held under the theme “Cooking Safety Starts With You,” Fire Department employees will review good practices to use daily with respect to fire hazards.

Temporary closure of a section of the Riverfront Trail

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise the public that a section of the Riverfront Trail located between Louis Street and Virginia Avenue will be completely closed on Tuesday, October 3 and on Wednesday, October 4. In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed to the following day.
This closure is necessary to allow work on the sewer system. Detour signs will be in place.

Lane reductions on Champlain Street (September 29, 2023)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Collège and Notre-Dame streets, on Friday, September 29.
These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for work related to the new buildings. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
It is to be noted that the sidewalk will also be closed.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

DIEPPE, NB — It was with great honour and respect that the City of Dieppe unveiled the permanent installation of the Mi’kmaq flag in its council chambers at yesterday’s public meeting. The initiative follows a dialogue aimed at reconciliation undertaken with Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc. (MTI).
