The Battle of Britain remembered in Dieppe

DIEPPE (NB) — A ceremony to commemorate the Battle of Britain and the efforts of the air forces during the Second World War will be held on Sunday, September 18, at J.-Laurie-Cormier Park beginning at 1:30 p.m.
The Battle of Britain, which started in the fall of 1940, involved the British Royal Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force and also airmen from Poland, Australia, Barbados, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Ireland, Jamaica, Newfoundland, New Zealand, Rhodesia, South Africa and the United States....
Lane closure - Acadie Avenue ramp toward Champlain Street

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the Acadie Avenue ramp toward Champlain Street will be completely closed on Monday, September 12. This closure is necessary to allow for roadwork.
In case of inclement weather, construction will take place the following day.
Motorists coming from Acadie Avenue will still be able to turn right on Champlain Street.
This work may cause delays. Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

DIEPPE, NB — As part of its wellness strategy, the City of Dieppe will be organizing the 12-Week Challenge in cooperation with the Province of New Brunswick and the Vitalité Health Network’s public health sector.

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents that dredging operations will take place in the Chartersville marsh area. The work will take place along the Riverfront Trail, between Virginia Avenue and Babineau Creek, and between the bridge at Babineau Creek and the Acadie Avenue/Amirault Street, until the beginning of October.
During this period, these portions of the trail will be completely closed to cyclists and pedestrians.
