Broken branches and trees following recent weather conditions

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents that broken branches and trees on their property may be placed in green bags if they are of one inch in diameter or less. Branches have to be placed in bundles no longer than four feet.
Bigger branches and trees may be brought at the solid waste facility free of charge or kept until the special spring pickup that will be held in May. Branches kept until the special collection cannot be left at curbside.

DIEPPE, N.B. — Dieppe will be in a festive mood during the Friendship Carnival, from February 3 to 5, with more than 40 activities held across the municipality. The official opening, featuring the group Old School, will take place on Friday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Place 1604. There will also be bonfires and hot chocolate.

Temporary Closure of the Skating Oval

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to inform the public that the refrigerated skating oval at Place 1604 is temporarily closed to public.
A mechanical breakdown was discovered and we wish to proceed with the repair as quickly as possible to be able to enjoy a longer skating season once the temperatures become milder.
It is important to note that this work will not result in any costs to the municipality or taxpayers.

Collège and Champlain Streets intersection – lighting poles

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that work will take place to install the new lighting poles on Collège Street from Thursday, January 5 to Friday, January 6, weather permitting.
Some lane reductions are to be expected on Champlain and Collège Streets during this work. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during this period.
