Dieppe celebrates youth

DIEPPE, NB — Children aged 3 to 12 are invited to take part in the 2017 edition of the Children’s Festival to be held at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre on Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28.
Various fun and educational activities will be offered to children during these two afternoons. Whether they are interested in discovering the arts, science, music or whether they are more active, there will certainly be a workshop that will please them. Special spring garbage collection and household hazardous waste day

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the special spring garbage collection for households with regular weekly garbage collection on:
- TUESDAY, will be held on Tuesday, May 23
- WEDNESDAY, will be held on Wednesday, May 24
- FRIDAY, will be held on Friday, May 26
During special garbage collection, items should not be placed at curbside or roadside more than seven days before the scheduled special collection. Visit dieppe.ca for a complete list of restrictions.

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe highlighted the contributions of 33 volunteers working on various committees within the city during the Volunteer Recognition Night held at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre last evening.
During the event, the following volunteers received a certificate and commemorative pin in recognition for their outstanding contribution:

Curbside Treasures pickup postponed to Sunday, April 30

DIEPPE, NB — In anticipation of the rain expected tomorrow, the Curbside Treasure pickup is postponed to Sunday, April 30, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to create more space in their homes by placing items in good condition curbside. These items placed curbside can become treasures for others, all the while reducing our environmental impact.

DIEPPE, NB — The program “A tree for life” aimed at making Dieppe’s landscape greener and highlighting the birth of a child is back for a second edition. The City of Dieppe is proud to recognize the arrival of a child into the world by offering its family—free of charge—a tree that will grow alongside the child over time.
