Road closure – Gauvin Road (May 10 to 12, 2023)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Thomas and Ruisseau streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Wednesday, May 10 to Friday, May 12.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system. Detour signs will be in place.
Please note that a section of the sidewalk located in the area will also be closed during the work.

Temporary road closures – Santa Claus Parade

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be temporary road closures on the following streets on Saturday, November 26 between 4 and 8 p.m.
- Champlain Street, from the western city limits to Acadie Avenue
- Paul Street, from Champlain Street to Olivier Street
- Virginia Avenue, only the one-lane section
These road closures are necessary in order to allow for the Santa Claus Parade to take place.

Special Fall Garbage Collection

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the special fall garbage collection will take place between October 13 and 16.
For households with regular garbage collection on:
- TUESDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13.
- WEDNESDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14.
- THURSDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Thursday, October 15.
- FRIDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Friday, October 16.

Collection of Donations for the Victims of the Gauvin Road Apartment Building Fire

Update - The collection of donations for victims of the Gauvin Road apartment building fire is now over. Thank you for your generosity!
During the night of September 19 to 20, an apartment building on Gauvin Road caught fire, forcing the evacuation of roughly 50 people. The community has mobilized to help these individuals.
Several volunteers are organizing a collection of items and donations that will be given to the victims in need.

The Aquatic and Sports Centre will be open from 1 p.m to 7 p.m. for those who would need to use the showers. A charging station for electronic devices will also be available at the facility. Please bring your own charging devices.
