Dieppe Celebrates La Francophonie from March 10 to 22
Dieppe celebrates Month of La Francophonie with a varied program from March 10 to 22, 2026. Cinema, slam poetry, intercultural dialogue and much more will be featured across the world’s largest Acadian city.
Inclusive French
Although activities will be presented in French, everyone is welcome to discover or rediscover the richness of the French language, with a distinct Acadian flavour.
“We are proud to offer a program that highlights both our Acadian heritage and our openness to the world,” says Isabelle Lavoie, Community Officer with the City of Dieppe. “We invite people from all walks of life to come celebrate,” she adds.
The program is offered in collaboration with the Dieppe Public Library, the Festival international de cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA), Le Pays de la Sagouine, the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre, the SLAM’Acadie collective, the Salon du livre de Dieppe and Éditions Bouton d’or Acadie.
