Dieppe celebrates the success of the 44th Finals of the Jeux de l’Acadie
The City of Dieppe is filled with pride and gratitude following the emotional conclusion of the 44th Finals of the Jeux de l’Acadie, held earlier this afternoon.
Over six days, the star of l’Acadie shone brightly, powered by the contagious energy of more than 1,200 young athletes from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and France. With the exceptional support of nearly 700 volunteers and the unwavering engagement of the community, this year’s edition was marked by camaraderie, excellence and collective pride.
“It was an honour to welcome these young ambassadors of Acadian vitality and to see them thrive in an environment that was safe, festive and inspiring. Once again, Dieppe has shown itself to be a city of legendary hospitality,” said Dieppe Mayor Yvon Lapierre.
The City extends its heartfelt thanks to the organizing committee, municipal staff, financial partners and residents who contributed to the success of this major event.
As the torch now passes to the City of Edmundston, host of the 45th Finals in 2026, Dieppe will carry cherished memories of this unforgettable edition.
