Canada Day in Dieppe: A Colourful Carnival
DIEPPE, N.B. — On July 1, the City of Dieppe invites everyone to celebrate Canada Day with a full day of family fun and free entertainment at Place 1604. Now in its third edition, the Canada Day carnival promises a lively and festive program that shines a spotlight on culture, community, and Canadian pride.
Let’s get this party started!
The celebration kicks off at 10 a.m. with a show by beloved children’s performer Art Richard. At 1 p.m., the official ceremony begins, featuring the playing of O Canada.
Then at 1:15 p.m., Acadian band ABOiTEAU takes the stage for the musical highlight of the day.
Family fun, Canadian style
From 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can enjoy bouncy castles, games, and a variety of free activities, all in a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
The day wraps up with a spectacular fireworks display at 10 p.m., presented in collaboration with Moncton and Riverview. The event is free and open to all.
“Canada Day is a time to reflect on the strength found in our diversity and the unity that brings us together, even in uncertain times. It’s in moments like these that community spirit truly shines,” says Emélie Gallant, community officer for the City of Dieppe.

Everyone is encouraged to wear Canada’s colours and come celebrate—with joy and unity—the shared identity and values that unite Canadians from coast to coast.
