Back to SearchThe City of Dieppe invites the public to celebrate the dedication and involvement of its volunteers at the Les Chalins 2026 gala. Nominations are now open, offering a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on those who make our community vibrant through their commitment.
The event will showcase volunteers in seven categories, illustrating the diversity and richness of community action in Dieppe. Finalists and winners will be honoured at a festive and welcoming evening celebrating their contributions.
“Volunteers are the heart of our community,” says Community Officer Jonathan Desroches. “Every year, we discover inspiring journeys and unique stories that deserve to be told.”
Nominations are open in the following categories:
- Seniors
- Community involvement
- Involvement by a newcomer
- Youth involvement
- Environment
- Francophonie and culture
- Sports and recreation
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Atlantic Time). All details, eligibility criteria and the nomination form are available at dieppe.ca/chalins
A selection committee will choose three finalists in each category, and the winners will be announced at the Les Chalins gala on April 30, 2026, at the Wingate hotel.
