Back to SearchDieppe, NB – The City of Dieppe held the official opening ceremony this morning for the UNIplex. The ceremony was virtual to respect Phase Orange restrictions and included representatives of the federal and provincial governments, UNI Financial Cooperation and Go Dieppe.
The UNIplex is a multifunctional facility serving users of all ages from the entire community. It is located at 450 Collège Street and includes an indoor walking track, a kitchen, community rooms, two NHL regulation ice surfaces and an intergenerational greenhouse.
The UNIplex was funded to the tune of $31 million by the provincial, federal and municipal governments and the community. Its name underscores the contribution of $1 million from UNI Financial Cooperation to the fundraising campaign.
