Dieppe’s First Municipal Forum a Resounding Success
Dieppe’s first-ever municipal forum was a resounding success, drawing nearly 400 participants over two days. Held last Wednesday and Thursday, the event gave residents a chance to visit a dozen interactive kiosks and share their ideas and feedback on a wide range of topics related to the city’s growth.
As part of the event, Grade 4 and Grade 6 students from local schools participated in the Together We Grow! activity, an initiative aimed at raising awareness among young people about municipal issues and the important role they play in shaping their city’s future.
“We are proud to have welcomed the public over those two days,” said Marc Melanson, Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Dieppe. “As a municipal government, we are the level of government closest to the people. We must work together to build a Dieppe that reflects our collective vision, both for today and for the future.”
Residents who were unable to attend in person are invited to complete an online survey at www.croissancedieppegrowth.ca. The survey will remain open until June 20, and participants will be entered into a draw to win gift cards redeemable at local businesses.
