Snow clearing update (February 17)

SNOW CLEARING UPDATE (FEBRUARY 17) – All available staff and equipment are working on our snow clearing operations. Our teams are now clearing snow from residential streets (Priority 3) and widening them. Priority is being given to streets which have garbage collection tomorrow (Wednesday).
As for snow clearing on sidewalks, it will not be done today. There is too much snow for our sidewalk tractors, which means we must use our blowers. These blowers are currently busy clearing snow from residential...

SNOW REMOVAL - UPDATE - MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16 - Our major arteries and heavily travelled streets (Priority 1) and our collector streets (Priority 2) have all been cleared. Our crews are now concentrating on widening our residential streets (Priority 3). Sidewalks have not been cleared because the amount of snowfall is creating a problem for our sidewalk clearing machines. Snowblowers will be needed to clear sidewalks. Regular schedule - garbage pickup Tuesday, February 17

The garbage pickup will follow the regular schedule for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17. However, we are asking residents to please put your garbage bags along the curb side and not on top of snowbanks. Considering the height of the snowbanks, it becomes very difficult for the garbage collector to reach garbage bags. Thank you very much for your collaboration.
