Residential waste sorting program in the Tri-Community

GREATER MONCTON – Due to widespread confusion over RecycleSENB’s new residential waste sorting program in the Greater Moncton area, the City of Moncton, City of Dieppe and Town of Riverview would like to bring some clarification on sorting rules.
According to RecycleSENB, here are the golden rules residents should follow:
Blue and green bags only
Bags that are black, orange or any colour other than transparent green or blue will not be picked up.

Dieppe honours veterans

DIEPPE, N.B. — A special ceremony has been organized for Dieppe for Remembrance Day on November 11, a day celebrated across Canada to honour those Canadians who have died in war.
In collaboration with the Dieppe Veterans’ Association, the City of Dieppe invites the public to the veterans’ and RCMP parade taking place at École Anna-Malenfant at 11 a.m. The parade will take place inside the school, followed by an official ceremony commemorating the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918.

Bus passes now available at Dieppe City Hall

DIEPPE (N.B.) — Starting on November 1st, Codiac Transpo bus users will be able to buy their bus passes at Dieppe City Hall at 333 Acadie Avenue, from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Lane reductions on Dieppe Boulevard

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Dieppe Boulevard (from the Route 15 overpass to Champlain Street), will be reduced to one lane, from Thursday October 31 to Tuesday November 5, weather permitting, for the preparation and application of the first asphalt layers.

New traffic lights on Dieppe Boulevard

Dieppe (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to inform drivers that two new traffic lights have been installed on Dieppe Boulevard, one at the intersection of Rufin and Aquatique Streets, and the other at the intersection of Chartersville Road.
Weather permitting, the lights will be activated on Thursday, October 31.
The City reminds drivers to be careful and respect the pedestrian crossways.
