The Champlain and Acadie intersection will be completely closed overnight on Tuesday, September 22 starting at 7 p.m. until Wednesday, September 23 at 5 a.m.

There will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and Paul Street, from Monday, September 21 to Friday, September 25.

Amirault Street, between Alain-Gillette Street and Chartersville Road, will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in each direction on Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18. 

The lane reduction on Acadie Avenue, between Marché and Alain-Gillette streets, is extended until Friday, September 18 inclusively, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Chartersville Road, in the area of Gorveatte, will be reduced to one single lane of traffic on Tuesday, September 1.

Construction work for a trail on Belle-Forêt Street will begin on Monday, August 17, 2026, between des Érables Street and Dieppe Boulevard. The work is expected to continue until September 4. 

Belle-Forêt Street will remain open to traffic. However, one lane may be closed at times. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct traffic. 

Lane reductions are scheduled for August 17 and 18, 2026, at the intersection of Champlain Street, Aviation Street and Englehart Street, as well as near 813 Champlain Street.

Traffic will be maintained; however, some lanes will be closed to allow for the work.

Acadie Avenue, between Normandie and Alain-Gillette streets, will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for the remainder of the day, Wednesday, August 5. 

These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for repair work on the water and sewer system. 

Champlain Street, near the intersection with Airport Road, will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction until Friday, July 31 to allow for work on the water system.

A section of Thomas Street, civic numbers 265 to 331, will now be known as des Pommiers Street. This name change is part of the project to realign Thomas Street with Lafrance Street.
