Santa Claus visits Dieppe

DIEPPE, N.B. — More than 300 children are expected to attend Dieppe’s annual A Christmas Story event taking place at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre on Sunday, December 9. Admission is free.
Children’s author Cindy Roy will act out the book Ernest et Célestine, Le Sapin de Noël at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Also in attendance will be Féeli Tout, a fairy with a paper skirt filled with letters and punctuation. Temporary Street Closure for the Santa Claus Parade

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street will be closed from the southern limits of the municipality to Paul Street, and Paul Street, between Champlain to Regis Streets, on Saturday, November 24 from 6:30 p.m. to the end of the Greater Moncton Santa Claus Parade.

Work on Champlain Street

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction, between Marché and Collège Streets, on Tuesday, November 20, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Past Dieppe mayors being honoured by commemorative plaques

DIEPPE, N.B. — To close off festivities surrounding the 60th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Dieppe as a municipality, the City is inviting the general public to the unveiling of commemorative plaques honouring each of the past mayors.
The event will be held on Sunday, November 25, at Place 1604 (behind City Hall), from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with current mayor Yvon Lapierre in attendance along with a number of past mayors.
Hot beverages will be available.

Commercial development continues in Dieppe!

DIEPPE, N.B. — In the past two months, 116 building permits were issued in Dieppe representing a total value of $5,531,497. The 34 permits issued for the commercial sector represented investments of $3,717,512, while the 82 residential permits issued were valued at $1,813,985.
