Work being done near Chartersville marsh

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that work to replace the Babineau Creek trunk sewer has begun and will continue until the end of summer.
The first phase of the project between Virginia Avenue and Acadie Avenue began in early January since that particular work must be done during winter when the marsh is frozen.
The second phase between Acadie Avenue and Thomas Street will begin in the spring and will continue until July.

Registration for Valentine`s Day and March Break activities

DIEPPE, N.B. — Registration will soon take place for Valentine’s Day and March Break activities for children from kindergarten to grade five.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Musical Day will take place on Saturday, February 9, with ice-breaker games, a snack, a music workshop with Triolet d’Nord, crafts and various games.
As part of the overall March Break activity, Active Day will take place on Wednesday, March 6, with ice-breaker games, a snack, a yoga session with Maryse Arseneau of Yoga Market, crafts...
Dieppe Friendship Carnival features many new activities!

DIEPPE, N.B. – A number of new activities will be offered during the Dieppe Friendship Carnival taking place February 1-3.
Some of the new activities include: a colouring contest with participants having the chance to win a four-month pass to Crystal Palace; a new structure, the Ice Tower, will be available in the Aquatic and Sports Centre’s pool; and movies will be presented on a giant inflatable screen at École Anna-Malenfant. The Carnival also unveiled its new logo in the form of a snowflake.
New committee established

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that council has established a new Advisory Committee on Strategy and Public Policy.
The committee’s mandate will be to offer a public forum for presentations coming from staff, community groups and others on various subjects related to major municipal issues. The committee is made up of members of city council.
The creation of this committee will also provide an opportunity for city councillors to study issues more closely before being brought forward...

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that its three outdoor skating rinks are now open.
In addition to the two rinks that have been located in Rotary St-Anselme Park for the past few years, residents can now enjoy a new rink located downtown this year.
Located at Place 1604, the rink is a pilot project for this winter and is reserved for skating only. The project will be re-evaluated next year based on residents’ interest.
