DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Avalon Street will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, August 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Smoke Testing on Chartersville Road

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that smoke testing will be carried out in sanitary sewers on Chartersville Road, between Dieppe Boulevard and Canaan Street, on Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23.
The work is necessary to help identify possible defects in the lines and improve the sewer system.
The smoke that may be seen coming from building vents, roof drains or holes in the ground are non-toxic, harmless and create no fire hazard.

Water supply interruption

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that a water main break at the Dover Road and Amirault Street intersection has resulted in an interruption of water supply for the following streets: part of Dover Road; Domaine Dover Estates; Sylvie Lane; Freda and Joanne Crescents; Marco, Kristian, J.-F. Bourgeois, Raphaël, Carter and Léonide Streets, and Amirault Street, from civic number 2178 to the city limits.

Looking for young leaders

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe is looking for young, creative leaders between grades 8 to 12 who are motivated and want to sit on the Dieppe Youth Advisory Committee.
To qualify you must be a resident of Dieppe for at least three months, want to represent youth in Dieppe, want to volunteer time and play an active role in the community.

Lobster supper featuring Les Smouthes at Dieppe KITE International

DIEPPE, N.B. — Activities surrounding the very successful 8th Dieppe KITE International festival end tomorrow. A lobster supper and concert by Les Smouthes at 6 p.m. close out the festival at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre (under the tent). Tickets are available in advance for $30 each at Jean Coutu in Dieppe and Shediac, Atlantic Superstore in Moncton and Riverview, Home Hardware in Memramcook, Higho Market in Saint-Antoine and online at billetterieacces.ca.
