Localized boil water order effective immediately

DIEPPE (NB)— The City of Dieppe would like to advise drinking water system users in the Fox Creek Zone and a section of St-Anselme Zone that the Regional Medical Officer of Health has issued an order to not consume potable water, following a water main break on Fox Creek Road.
Residents and businesses affected by the boil order are in the following zone (see map of affected area in attachment):
- South of LeBlanc Road, including LeBlanc Road
- Fox Creek Road, between Amirault Street and LeBlanc Road
Road closure - St-Croix Street

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that St-Croix Street, at the Virginia intersection, will be completely closed on Monday, June 19, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration during this construction project.

Road closure - Gauvin Road

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Bras-d’Or Avenue and d’Aulnay Court, will be completely closed to traffic from Monday, June 19 to Friday, June 23, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. This closure is necessary to allow for roadwork.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe is launching the second edition of its participatory budgeting project (PBP) under the theme "Transform your community!" The PBP is a municipal initiative that allows residents to bring forward a project idea that will serve the community, and is later submitted for vote.

Adoption of 2017 municipal budget

DIEPPE, N.B. — Dieppe City Council adopted its 2017 operating budgets totalling $66.2 million during its regular public meeting held on December 12. Of this amount, $53.5 million will go toward the general operating budget while $12.7 million will go toward the budget for water and sewer.
Capital spending budgets were also passed at the meeting: $26.5 million for the general capital budget (borrowing $14.9 million) and $4.1 million for the water and sewer capital budget.
