Consult the public swim section for the swimming schedule
***IMPORTANT***
After receiving further clarification from EMO, here is the information notice regarding the use of the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre during the orange phase, until further notice.
- Wearing a mask is mandatory. A face shield worn without a mask is not acceptable.
- Ensure frequent hand disinfection.
- Cancellation of all children's group swimming classes, the aqua push-push class, the public and preschool swims.
- Lap swim during this phase will be maximum 1 swimmer per lane.
- Aquafitness and deep-water aquafitness during this phase will be maximum 14 participants, with 3 metres of distance and no masks during the course.
- Our adult swimming classes with 6 participants and the aquaspinning course with maximum 14 participants are already compliant for this phase.
- Addition of private lessons by the holidays, will be available soon on the registration website.
- Swimmers must present themselves with their swimsuit under their clothes. The locker rooms will not be accessible before swimming.
- At the end of the activity, the client will have access to the locker room for changing only and for a maximum of 15 minutes. Showers will be closed.
- At any time, if your health changes, it is important that the Aquatic Centre be informed promptly.
- No loan of equipment is permitted, the client must bring his or her own equipment. There is an option to purchase certain items at the reception desk.
- The water fountain with the bottle filler section will be available, it will not be possible to drink directly with the mouth.
Procedures at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre during the pandemic
Everyone at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre, Rotary Pavilion and arena will be required to wear a mask immediately upon entering the building.
For everyone:
- Before arrival, each client is asked to self-screen for the symptoms indicated by New Brunswick Public Health.
- Each swimmer must reserve a swim block.
- Entry fees will be paid or verified at the reception desk.
- It is recommended to arrive wearing your bathing suit under your clothes.
- You are asked to arrive 10 minutes before your reserved swim time.
- When you arrive, you will be asked to disinfect your hands and then go to the reception desk to confirm your reservation.
- Active screening (taking body temperature, screening questions and information for the registry) will be done upon entering the locker rooms.
- Reservations for programming will be available one week in advance only. New availability will be released every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
- If you need to cancel, it is important to let us know as soon as possible.
- You must shower before you swim.
- A lifeguard will guide you to the pool.
- It is important that you comply with the maximum swimming time.
- If you want to use the sauna, this time is to be included in your total reservation time.
- Only one person is allowed in the sauna at a time.
- At the end of your swim, you will have access to the dressing room for a maximum of 15 minutes.
- At all times, should the client's health change, it is important that the Aquatic Centre be notified promptly.
Lap swims:
- Each reservation will be for a maximum of 45 minutes.
- A reminder that when you bring a friend for lap swims, you must share the same lane so that we can maximize the use of the pool. All you have to do is make one reservation and bring your friend along.
- If you prefer a certain lane, please tell us. We will consider your preference as much as possible.
Swimming classes:
- Preschool and junior levels 1 to 3 will be accompanied by a parent in the water.
- After the fifth class, it may be possible that parents will not be required for Junior 3.
- Clients will be greeted by a lifeguard at the exit of the changing rooms and guided to their gathering places.
- Clients will wait at their designated distances until the instructor calls its groups/children.
- Instructors will teach out of the water in order to respect physical distancing. If they are required to demonstrate an example of a technique, the group must get out of the water and observe from the outside.
Private swim lessons:
- For participants who are in junior swim levels 1 to 3, a parent will be required to be in the water with the child and the instructor, in order to respect physical distancing.
Preschool swim:
- The preschool swim is open to preschoolers (5 years old or less) accompanied by an adult.
- Each individual participating in the activity must be registered (including the children).
- It is recommended to arrive wearing your bathing suit under your clothes.

Poolside modifications:
- Addition of ropes between each pool lane
- Designated lanes (swimming and exercise pools)
- Addition of designated areas for swimmers equipment
- Poolside shower

Lane order

Codiac Transpo serves the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre.
The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre offers the opportunity to enjoy the aquatic activity of your choice in an impressive high-quality facility.
The Centre's diverse program options are adapted to all age groups. A community room is also available for rental.
The Centre has:
- 25-metre pool with six lanes for swimming and various activities
- Exercise pool with two lanes for swimming and aquatic activity sessions
- Recreational pool varying in depth from 0 to 1.4 metres for games, water slide and a children's pirate ship
- Sauna open during our regular swim schedule
- Three types of change rooms (women, men and universal)
Please note that swimming caps are optional, long hair must be attached and special swim diapers for young children who wear diapers are mandatory.
Cell phones and cameras are prohibited in the dressing rooms and on the pool deck.
Services
In addition to swimming classes and public swim sessions, the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre offers a number of other services:
- Free use of equipment such as life jackets, but no toys or floatation boards, etc. during this period.
- Equipment adapted to persons with special needs or reduced mobility allowing them to access various pools
- Giant Wibit inflatable structure available during public swimming sessions every Wednesday and Saturday for the summer
- Goggles, bathing caps and other items for sale at the reception
- Swim diapers available for sale at reception
Supervision
Children aged 6 years or under must be accompanied at all times by an adult or attendant aged 12 years or older.
Children from 7 to 11 years old must be accompanied by a parent or attendant aged 12 years or older on the premises while they are in the pool.
