Dieppe unveils programming for August 15 celebrations

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is inviting everyone to come celebrate National Acadian Day at Place 1604 on Tuesday, August 15. The evening will begin with a tintamarre, after which fans of Acadian music can enjoy performances by their favourite artists.
The tintamarre parade will begin at 5:45 p.m. and proceed on foot around Place 1604 where the artist Suzanne Cormier-Dupuis will unveil a work of art. The festivities will then move to the stage downtown, where artists will perform until midnight....
Roadwork - Major rehabilitation of Fox Creek Road

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that major rehabilitation work will begin on Fox Creek Road, between Amirault and Belle-Forêt Streets, on Tuesday, June 6, and will continue until October.
During the construction period, this section of road will be reduced to a single lane. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Roadwork - Champlain Street

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that milling and paving work will take place on Champlain Street, between western city limits and Acadie Avenue, on Monday, June 5, weather permitting.
During this work, this section of Champlain Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during this period.

Roadwork – Dover Road

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Dover Road, near Bayview Court, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Wednesday, May 31, weather permitting.
This lane reduction is necessary to allow for work on the sewer system. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
