Milling and paving work - Champlain Street

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street, from civic number 2101 to Arsenault Road, will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Tuesday, August 8 to Friday, August 11. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for milling and paving work.
Traffic lights will be in place to direct traffic. It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Emergency services not affected by cellular outages

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that certain phone services in the area are currently experiencing an outage. Please be assured that the 9-1-1 telephone service is functional at this time.
It is possible to contact emergency services using the emergency feature on your wireless phone. However, we ask people to use this feature in an emergency only, and not to test it.
You can also go to the nearest ambulance or fire station to get help if you need emergency care.

Roadwork - Reconstruction of water supply system on Sunset Street

DIEPPE (NB) - The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that reconstruction of water system supply work will begin on Sunset Street on Tuesday, August 8, and will continue until October.
During the construction period, Sunset Street will intermittently be completely closed to traffic. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.

Current burn ban

A burn ban is currently in effect in all New Brunswick counties. This measure was imposed by the Department of Energy and Resource Development due to the hot and dry conditions in recent days. New Brunswick Day festivities in Dieppe

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe invites the public to celebrate New Brunswick Day at its brand new disc golf course on Monday, August 7.
On the agenda: cake-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. followed by activities focused on disc golf. Families can participate in games of skill and those wishing to discover disc golf will be able to receive tips and tricks from experts on site until 3:30 p.m. Playing discs will be provided free of charge.
