Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Local Governance Act, the Dieppe City Council intends to proceed with the adoption of the following bylaw by reading a summary and the third reading of said bylaw at the City Council public meeting scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.:

Update – Repair work has been completed and our crews are in the process of gradually restoring the drinking water supply. The work that was scheduled for this evening has therefore been cancelled, but the boil water advisory remains in effect until further notice.

Temporary Closure of Champlain Street - August 20 to 22, 2025

The City of Dieppe wishes to inform motorists that a partial closure of Champlain Street, between Therrien and Lorette Streets, will be in effect from Wednesday, August 20 to Friday, August 22, 2025, weather permitting. The westbound lane (coming from Scoudouc) will remain accessible on Champlain Street. A detour will be in place for vehicles traveling eastbound via Therrien, Chartersville, and Lorette streets.
This closure is necessary to allow for the replacement of the water system.

Lane Reductions on Champlain Street - August 19 and 20, 2025

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that lane reductions will be in effect on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and Paul Street, on August 19 and 20, 2025.
Traffic control measures will be in place. While traffic will be maintained in both directions, delays are expected in the area.
These lane reductions are necessary to allow for the installation of sewer services for a new residence.
